ஆண்டவர் ஆபிராமை நோக்கி, "உன் நாட்டிலிருந்தும் உன் இனத்தவரிடமிருந்தும் உன் தந்தை வீட்டிலிருந்தும் புறப்பட்டு நான் உனக்குக் காண்பிக்கும் நாட்டிற்குச் செல். 2. உன்னை நான் பெரிய இனமாக்குவேன்; உனக்கு ஆசி வழங்குவேன். உன் பெயரை நான் சிறப்புறச் செய்வேன்; நீயே ஆசியாக விளங்குவாய். 3 உனக்கு ஆசி கூறுவோர்க்கு நான் ஆசி வழங்குவேன்; உன்னைச் சபிப்போரை நானும் சபிப்பேன்; உன் வழியாக மண்ணுலகின் மக்களினங்கள் அனைத்தும் ஆசி பெறும்" என்றார். 4. ஆண்டவர் ஆபிராமுக்குக் கூறியபடியே அவர் புறப்பட்டுச் சென்றார். அவருடன் லோத்தும் சென்றார். ஆபிராம் ஆரானைவிட்டுச் சென்ற பொழுது அவருக்கு வயது எழுபத்தைந்து . 5 ஆபிராம் தம் மனைவி சாராயையும் தம் சகோதரன் லோத்தையும் உடனழைத்துச் சென்றார். அவர்கள் ஆரானில் சேர்த்திருந்த செல்வத்துடனும், வைத்திருந்த ஆள்களுடனும் கானான் நாட்டிற்குப் புறப்பட்டுச் சென்று அந்நாட்டைச் சென்றடைந்தனர். 6 ஆபிராம் அந்நாட்டில் நுழைந்து செக்கேமில் இருந்த மோரேயின் கருவாலி மரத்தை அடைந்தார். அப்பொழுது கானானியர் அந்நாட்டில் வாழ்ந்து வந்தனர். 7. ஆண்டவர் ஆபிராமுக்குத் தோன்றி "உன் வழிமரபினர்க்கு இந்நாட்டைக் கொடுப்பேன்" என்றார். ஆகவே தமக்குத் தோன்றிய ஆண்டவருக்கு அங்கே அவர் ஒரு பலிபீடத்தை எழுப்பினார். 8. ஆபிராம் அங்கிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, பெத்தேலுக்குக் கிழக்கே இருந்த மலைப்பக்கம் சென்று பெத்தேலுக்கு மேற்கே ஆயிக்குக் கிழக்கே கூடாரம் அமைத்துக் குடியிருந்தார். அங்கே ஆண்டவருக்கு அவர் ஒரு பலிபீடத்தை எழுப்பி ஆண்டவரது திருப்பெயரைத் தொழுதார்.
ஆண்டவரே! உம் அழைப்பை ஏற்று, உன்னைப் பின்தொடர் அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! நீர் எனக்கு ஆசி வழங்கி எனது எதிர்காலம் வெற்றியாய் அமையும் என்று கூறினதற்கு உமக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகிறேன். நீர் செய்த உடன்படிக்கையில் நான் விசுவாசத்துடன் நிலைத்திருக்க அருள்தாரும்!
1 Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” 4 So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. 5 Abram took his wife Sarai and his brother’s son Lot, and all the possessions that they had gathered, and the persons whom they had acquired in Haran; and they set forth to go to the land of Canaan. When they had come to the land of Canaan, 6 Abram passed through the land to the place at Shechem, to the oak of Moreh. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. 7 Then the Lord appeared to Abram, and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him. 8 From there he moved on to the hill country on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to the Lord and invoked the name of the Lord.
Lord! Grant me the grace to accept your call and to follow you.
Lord! I thank you for blessing me and declaring that my future will be successful. Grant me your grace to continue to live with faith in your covenant forever.

ஆண்டவரே! எனது பலவீனத்தை நீர் அறிவீர். என் வாயின் வழியாக உமது வாழ்வுதரும் வார்த்தையைப் பிறரோடு பேச எனக்கு அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! நீர் பேசும் அடியேன் கேட்கின்றேன். நான் கேட்ட வார்த்தைகளைத் தியானித்துத் தைரியத்தோடு பிறருடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளும் அருளைத்தாரும்.
1 But Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor even now that you have spoken to your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” 11 Then the Lord said to him, “Who gives speech to mortals? Who makes them mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you are to speak.” 13 But he said, “O my Lord, please send someone else.” 14 Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses and he said, “What of your brother Aaron the Levite? I know that he can speak fluently; even now he is coming out to meet you, and when he sees you his heart will be glad. 15 You shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth; and I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and will teach you what you shall do. 16 He indeed shall speak for you to the people; he shall serve as a mouth for you, and you shall serve as God for him. 17 Take in your hand this staff, with which you shall perform the signs.”
Lord! You know my weakness. Grant me the grace to share your life-giving words with others through my mouth.
Speak, Lord! Your servant is listening. Give me the grace to meditate on your words and share the same with others courageously.

ஆண்டவரே! உமது வார்த்தையால் என்னைத் தூய்மையாக்கினீர். உமது பணிக்காக என்னையே நான் அர்ப்பணிக்க எனக்குத் தாராள மனதைத்தாரும்.
6 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lofty; and the hem of his robe filled the temple. 2 Seraphs were in attendance above him; each had six wings: with two they covered their faces, and with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. 3 And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.” 4 The pivots on the thresholds shook at the voices of those who called, and the house filled with smoke. 5 And I said: “Woe is me! I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; yet my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!” 6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me, holding a live coal that had been taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. 7 The seraph touched my mouth with it and said: “Now that this has touched your lips, your guilt has departed and your sin is blotted out.” 8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I; send me!”
Lord! Remove my guilt and give me your grace to proclaim your life-giving words.
Lord! You made me clean by your words. Give me a generous heart to dedicate myself to your service.

ஆண்டவரே! உமது வாக்கைக் கேட்டு அதன்படி நடந்து பிறரையும் உம் வழியில் நடத்திட அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! உம் வாக்கைப் பயன்படுத்தி பிறரது வாழ்க்கையைக் கட்டியெழுப்பி உம்மிடம் அவர்களைக் கொண்டு வரும் கருவியாக என்னைப் பயன்படுத்தும்.
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” 6 Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Truly I do not know how to speak, for I am only a boy.” 7 But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a boy’; for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and you shall speak whatever I command you. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord.” 9 Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth; and the Lord said to me, “Now I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and over kingdoms, to pluck up and to pull down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.”
Lord! Give me your grace to listen and pursue your words and to lead others in your path.
Lord! Use me as an instrument to build the life of others with your words and to bring them to your fold.

ஆண்டவரே! உமது குரலுக்குச் செவி மடுத்து உம்மைப் பின் தொடர எனக்கு அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! என் சொற்களாலும் என் வாழ்க்கையாலும் பிறரை உம்மிடம் கொண்டு வரக்கூடிய கருவியாக என்னைப் பயன்படுத்தும்.
35 The next day John again was standing with two of his disciples, 36 and as he watched Jesus walk by, he exclaimed, “Look, here is the Lamb of God!” 37 The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus. 38 When Jesus turned and saw them following, he said to them, “What are you looking for?” They said to him, “Rabbi” (which translated means Teacher), “where are you staying?” 39 He said to them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where he was staying, and they remained with him that day. It was about four o’clock in the afternoon. 40 One of the two who heard John speak and followed him was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. 41 He first found his brother Simon and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated Anointed). 42 He brought Simon to Jesus, who looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You are to be called Cephas” (which is translated Peter). 43 The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.” 44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him about whom Moses in the law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus son of Joseph from Nazareth.” 46 Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” 47 When Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him, he said of him, “Here is truly an Israelite in whom there is no deceit!” 48 Nathanael asked him, “Where did you get to know me?” Jesus answered, “I saw you under the fig tree before Philip called you.” 49 Nathanael replied, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!” 50 Jesus answered, “Do you believe because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And he said to him, “Very truly, I tell you, you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”
Lord! Grant me the grace to listen to your voice and to follow you.
Lord! Use me as an instrument to bring others to you through my words and my life.
18 அப்பொழுது தலைவர் ஒருவர் அவரிடம், "நல்ல போதகரே, நிலை வாழ்வை உரிமையாக்கிக் கொள்ள நான் என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும்?" என்று கேட்டார். 19 அதற்கு இயேசு அவரிடம், "நான் நல்லவன் என ஏன் சொல்கிறீர்? கடவுள் ஒருவரைத் தவிர நல்லவர் எவருமில்லையே! 20 உமக்குக் கட்டளைகள் தெரியும் அல்லவா?" விபசாரம் செய்யாதே. கொலை செய்யாதே. களவு செய்யாதே. பொய்ச் சான்று சொல்லாதே. உன் தாய் தந்தையை மதித்து நட்” என்றார். 21 அவர், "இவை அனைத்தையும் நான் இளமையிலிருந்தே கடைப்பிடித்து வருகிறேன்” என்றார். 22 இதைக் கேட்ட இயேசு அவரிடம், "உமக்கு இன்னும் ஒன்று குறைபடுகிறது. உமக்குள்ள யாவற்றையும் விற்று ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடும். அப்போது விண்ணகத்தில் நீர் செல்வராய் இருப்பீர். பின்பு வந்து என்னைப் பின்பற்றும் " என்றார். 23 இவற்றைக் கேட்டு அவர் மிகவும் வருத்தமுற்றார். ஏனெனில் அவர் மிகுந்த செல்வம் உடையவராய் இருந்தார். 24 அவர் மிகவும் வருத்தமுற்றதைப் பார்த்த இயேசு , " செல்வர் இறையாட்சிக்கு உட்படுவது எவ்வளவு கடினம் ! 25 செல்வர் ஒருவர் இறையாட்சிக்கு உட்படுவதைவிட ஊசியின் காதில் ஒட்டகம் நுழைவது எளிது" என்றார். 26 இதைக் கேட்டவர்கள், "பின் யார்தான் மீட்புப் பெற முடியும்?" என்று கேட்டார்கள். 27 இயேசு, " மனிதரால் இயலாதவற்றைக் கடவுளால் செய்ய இயலும்" என்றார். 28 பேதுரு அவரிடம், "பாரும், எங்கள் உடைமைகளை விட்டுவிட்டு நாங்கள் உம்மைப் பின்பற்றினோமே" என்றார். 29 அதற்கு அவர் அவர்களிடம், "உறுதியாக உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன் : இறையாட்சியின் பொருட்டு வீட்டையோ மனைவியையோ சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளையோ பெற்றோரையோ பிள்ளைகளையோ விட்டுவிட்டவர் எவரும் 30 இம்மையில் பன்மடங்கும் மறுமையில் நிலைவாழ்வும் பெறாமல் போகார்" என்றார்.
ஆண்டவரே! தவறானவற்றை அகற்றி உம்மையே பற்றிக்கொள்ள அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! நீரே எனது செல்வம். நீர் ஒருவர்தான் எனக்கு நிலைவாழ்வு, மனநிறைவு அளிக்க முடியும். உம்மைப் பின்பற்ற எனக்குத் தைரியத்தைத்தாரும்.
18 A certain ruler asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 19 Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone. 20 You know the commandments: ‘You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not bear false witness; Honor your father and mother.’” 21 He replied, “I have kept all these since my youth.” 22 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “There is still one thing lacking. Sell all that you own and distribute the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.” 23 But when he heard this, he became sad; for he was very rich. 24 Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God! 25 Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?” 27 He replied, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.” 28 Then Peter said, “Look, we have left our homes and followed you.” 29 And he said to them, “Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, 30 who will not get back very much more in this age, and in the age to come eternal life.”
Lord! Give me the grace to put away everything wrong and hold on to you alone. .
Lord! You are my wealth. You alone can provide me with eternal life and contentment. Grant me the courage to follow you.
இதற்கிடையில் சவுல் சீறியெழுந்து ஆண்டவரின் சீடர்களைக் கொன்றுவிடுவதாக அச்சுறுத்தி வந்தார். தலைமைக் குருவை அணுகி, இந்தப் புதிய நெறியைச் சார்ந்த ஆண், பெண் யாராய் இருந்தாலும் அவர்களைக் கைது செய்து எருசலேமுக்கு இழுத்துக் கொண்டு வரத் தமஸ்கு நகரிலுள்ள தொழுகைக் கூடங்களுக்குக் கடிதங்களைக் கேட்டு வாங்கினார். 3 இவ்வாறு அவர் புறப்பட்டுச் சென்று தமஸ்குவை நெருங்கிய போது திடீரென வானத்திலிருந்து தோன்றிய ஓர் ஒளி அவரைச் சூழ்ந்து வீசியது. 4 அவர் தரையில் விழ , "சவுலே, சவுலே, ஏன் என்னைத் துன்புறுத்துகிறாய்?" என்று தம்மோடு பேசும் குரலொன்றைக் கேட்டார். 5 அதற்கு அவர், "ஆண்டவரே நீர் யார் ?" எனக் கேட்டார். ஆண்டவர், "நீ துன்புறுத்தும் இயேசு நானே. நீ எழுந்து நகருக்குள் செல்; நீ என்ன செய்யவேண்டும் என்பது அங்கே உனக்குச் சொல்லப்படும்" என்றார். 7 அவரோடு பயணம் செய்தோர் இக்குரலைக் கேட்டனர். ஆனால் ஒருவரையும் காணாமல் வாயடைத்து நின்றனர். 8 சவுல் தரையிலிருந்து எழுந்தார். தம் கண்கள் திறந்திருந்தும் அவரால் எதையும் பார்க்க முடியவில்லை . எனவே அவர்கள் அவருடைய கைகளைப் பிடித்து அவரைத் தமஸ்குவுக்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றார்கள். அவர் மூன்று நாள் பார்வையற்றிருந்தார். அந்நாள்களில் அவர் உண்ணவுமில்லை, குடிக்கவுமில்லை . 10 தமஸ்குவில் அனனியா என்னும் பெயருடைய சீடர் ஒருவர் இருந்தார். ஆண்டவர் அவருக்குத் தோன்றி, "அன்னியா" என அழைக்க, அவர், "ஆண்டவரே, இதோ அடியேன்" என்றார். 11 அப்போது ஆண்டவர் அவரிடம், "நீ எழுந்து நேர்த் தெரு என்னும் சந்துக்குப் போய் யூதாவின் வீட்டில் சவுல் என்னும் பெயருடைய தர்சு நகரத்தவரைத் தேடு. அவர் இப்போது இறைவனிடம் வேண்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார். 12 அன்னியா என்னும் பெயருடைய ஒருவர் வந்து தாம் மீண்டும் பார்வையடையுமாறு தம்மீது கைகளை வைப்பதாக அவர் காட்சி கண்டுள்ளார்" என்று கூறினார். 13 அதற்கு அன்னியா மறுமொழியாக, "ஆண்டவரே, இம்மனிதன் எருசலேமிலுள்ள இறை மக்களுக்கு என்னென்ன தீமைகள் செய்தான் என்பதைப் பற்றிப் பலர் கூறக் கேட்டிருக்கிறேன் 14 உம் பெயரை அறிக்கையிடும் அனைவரையும் கைது செய்வதற்காகத் தலைமைக் குருக்களிடமிருந்து அதிகாரம் பெற்று இங்கே வந்திருக்கிறான்." என்றார். 15 அதற்கு ஆண்டவர் அவரிடம், "நீ செல் அவர் பிற இனத்தவருக்கும் அரசருக்கும் இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களுக்கும் முன்பாக எனது பெயரை எடுத்துச் செல்ல நான் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துக் கொண்ட கருவியாய் இருக்கிறார். 16 என் பெயரின் பொருட்டு அவர் எத்துணை துன்புற வேண்டும் என்பதை நான் அவருக்கு எடுத்துக்காட்டுவேன்" என்றார். 17 அனனியா அங்கிருந்து போய் அந்த வீட்டுக்குள் சென்று கைகளை அவர் மீது வைத்து, "சகோதரர் சவுலே, நீர் வந்த வழியில் உமக்குத் தோன்றிய ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு நீர் மீண்டும் பார்வை அடையவும் தூய ஆவியால் ஆட்கொள்ளப்படவும் என்னை உம்மிடம் அனுப்பியுள்ளார்.'' என்றார். 18 உடனே அவருடைய கண்களிலிருந்து செதில்கள் போன்றவை விழவே அவர் மீண்டும் பார்வையடைந்தார். பார்வையடைந்ததும் அவர் எழுந்து திருமுழுக்குப் பெற்றார். 19 பின்பு சவுல் உணவு அருந்தி வலிமை பெற்றார்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது குரலுக்கு நான் செவிமடுத்து எனது வாழ்க்கையை மாற்றி அமைக்க அருள் தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! நற்செய்திப் பணியாளனாக என்னை நீர் தேர்ந்தெடுத்ததற்கு நன்றி கூறுகின்றேன். அமைதியின் கருவியாக நான் நடமாட என்னை ஆற்றுப் படுத்தும்.
1 Meanwhile Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any who belonged to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. 3 Now as he was going along and approaching Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” 5 He asked, “Who are you, Lord?” The reply came, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 6 But get up and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.” 7 The men who were traveling with him stood speechless because they heard the voice but saw no one. 8 Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; so they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. 9 For three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank. 10 Now there was a disciple in Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” He answered, “Here I am, Lord.” 11 The Lord said to him, “Get up and go to the street called Straight, and at the house of Judas look for a man of Tarsus named Saul. At this moment he is praying, 12 and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him so that he might regain his sight.” 13 But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints in Jerusalem; 14 and here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who invoke your name.” 15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is an instrument whom I have chosen to bring my name before Gentiles and kings and before the people of Israel; 16 I myself will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.” 17 So Ananias went and entered the house. He laid his hands on Saul and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on your way here, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and his sight was restored. Then he got up and was baptized, 19 and after taking some food, he regained his strength.
Lord! Give me the grace to listen to your voice and change my life.
Lord! I thank you for having chosen me as a minister of evangelisation. Guide me to be an instrument of peace.
