பம்பரம் போல் பரபரப்பாக சுழுலும் வாழ்வில் ஒரமாய் ஒதுங்கி உன்னதர் இயேசுவோடு உரையாடி ஒளிதேடி இறைவாக்கை விளக்காக வாழ்வாக வரவேற்று வளம் பெறுக!
1 இயேசு எரிகோவுக்குச் சென்று அந்நகர் வழியே போய்க் கொண்டிருந்தார். 2 அங்கு சக்கேயு என்னும் பெயருடைய செல்வர் ஒருவர் இருந்தார். அவர் வரிதண்டுவோருக்குத் தலைவர். 3 இயேசு யார் என்று அவர் பார்க்க விரும்பினார்; மக்கள் திரளாய்க் கூடியிருந்ததால் அவரைப் பார்க்க முடியவில்லை . ஏனெனில், சக்கேயு குட்டையாய் இருந்தார். 4 அவர் முன்னே ஓடிப்போய், அவரைப் பார்ப்பதற்காக ஒரு காட்டு அத்தி மரத்தில் ஏறிக் கொண்டார். இயேசு அவ்வழியேதான் வரவிருந்தார். 5 இயேசு அந்த இடத்திற்கு வந்தவுடன், அண்ணாந்து பார்த்து அவரிடம், "சக்கேயு, விரைவாய் இறங்கிவாரும்; இன்று உமது வீட்டில் நான் தங்க வேண்டும்" என்றார். 6 அவர் விரைவாய் இறங்கி வந்து மகிழ்ச்சியோடு அவரை வரவேற்றார். 7. இதைக் கண்ட யாவரும், "பாவியிடம் தங்கப்போயிருக்கிறாரே இவர்" என்று முணுமுணுத்தனர். 8 சக்கேயு எழுந்து நின்று, "ஆண்டவரே, என் உடைமைகளில் பாதியை ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடுத்துவிடுகிறேன்; எவர் மீதாவது பொய்க் குற்றம் சுமத்தி எதையாவது கவர்ந்திருந்தால் நான் அதை நான்கு மடங்காகத் திருப்பிக் கொடுத்து விடுகிறேன்" என்று அவரிடம் கூறினார். 9 இயேசு அவரை நோக்கி, "இன்று இந்த வீட்டிற்கு மீட்பு உண்டாயிற்று; ஏனெனில் இவரும் ஆபிரகாமின் மகனே! 10 இழந்து போனதைத் தேடி மீட்கவே மானிடமகன் வந்திருக்கிறார்" என்று சொன்னார்.
ஆண்டவரே! இன்றே எனக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியையும் மீட்பையும் தந்தருளும்.
ஆண்டவரே! வழிதவறிப்போயிருந்த எனக்கு மீட்பு அளித்து என்னை உமது சீடனாக அழைத்ததற்கு நன்றி. நான் மனம் திரும்பி உம்மை என் மீட்பராக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும் அருளை எனக்குத் தந்தருளும்.
1 He entered Jericho and was passing through it. 2 A man was there named Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was rich. 3 He was trying to see who Jesus was, but on account of the crowd he could not, because he was short in stature. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see him, because he was going to pass that way. 5 When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down; for I must stay at your house today.” 6 So he hurried down and was happy to welcome him. 7 All who saw it began to grumble and said, “He has gone to be the guest of one who is a sinner.” 8 Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, “Look, half of my possessions, Lord, I will give to the poor; and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will pay back four times as much.” 9 Then Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost.”
Lord! Give me the salvation and joy today.
Lord! I thank you for redeeming me, the one who had gone astray, and calling me to be your disciple. Grant me the grace to repent and accept you as my saviour.
1 இயேசு ஒலிவ மலைக்குச் சென்றார். 2 பொழுது விடிந்ததும் அவர் மீண்டும் கோவிலுக்கு வந்தார். அப்போது மக்கள் அனைவரும் அவரிடம் வந்தனர். அவரும் அங்கு அமர்ந்து அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்தார். 3 மறைநூல் அறிஞரும் பரிசேயரும் விபசாரத்தில் பிடிப்பட்ட ஒரு பெண்ணைக் கூட்டிக் கொண்டு வந்து நடுவில் நிறுத்தி, 4 "போதகரே, இப்பெண் விபசாரத்தில் கையும் மெய்யுமாகப் பிடிப்பட்டவள். 5 இப்படிப்பட்டவர்களைக் கல்லால் எறிந்து கொல்ல வேண்டும் என்பது மோசே நமக்குக் கொடுத்த திருச்சட்டத்திலுள்ள கட்டளை. நீர் என்ன சொல்கிறீர்?” என்று கேட்டனர். 6 அவர்மேல் குற்றம் சமத்த ஏதாவது வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக அவர்கள் இவ்வாறு கேட்டுச் சோதித்தார்கள். இயேசு குனிந்து விரலால் தரையில் எழுதிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். 7 ஆனால் அவர்கள் அவரை விடாமல் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்ததால், அவர் நிமிர்ந்து பார்த்து, "உங்களுள் பாவம் இல்லாதவர் முதலில் இப்பெண்மேல் கல் எறியட்டும்” என்று அவர்களிடம் கூறினார். 8 மீண்டும் குனிந்து தரையில் எழுதிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். 9 அவர் சொன்னதைக் கேட்டதும் முதியோர் தொடங்கி ஒருவர் பின் ஒருவராக அவர்கள் யாவரும் அங்கிருந்து சென்றுவிட்டார்கள். இறுதியாக இயேசு மட்டுமே அங்கு இருந்தார். அப்பெண்ணும் அங்கேயே நின்று கொண்டிருந்தார். 10 இயேசு நிமிர்ந்து பார்த்து, "அம்மா, அவர்கள் எங்கே? நீர் குற்றவாளி என்று எவரும் தீர்ப்பிடவில்லைாயா?" என்று கேட்டார். 11 அவர், "இல்லை , ஐயா" என்றார். இயேசு அவரிடம் "நானும் தீர்ப்பு அளிக்கவில்லை . நீர் போகலாம். இனிப் பாவம் செய்யாதீர்" என்றார்.
ஆண்டவரே! பிறரை நான் தீர்ப்பிடாமல் இருக்கும் அருளைத் தந்தருளும்.
ஆண்டவரே! நீர் எத்தனை முறை என்னை மன்னித்துள்ளீர். உமது இரக்கப் பெருக்கத்தை நினைத்து மனமுருகிப் பிறருக்கு இரக்கம் காட்டும் வரத்தை எனக்கு அளிப்பீராக!
1 while Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people came to him and he sat down and began to teach them. 3 The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery; and making her stand before all of them, 4 they said to him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery. 5 Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They said this to test him, so that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let anyone among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 And once again he bent down and wrote on the ground. 9 When they heard it, they went away, one by one, beginning with the elders; and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. 10 Jesus straightened up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, sir.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go your way, and from now on do not sin again.”
Lord! Give me the grace that I do not judge others.
Lord! You have absolved me many a time. Give me the gift to remember your abundant mercy and to show compassion to others.
பரிசேயருள் ஒருவர் இயேசுவைத் தம்மோடு உண்பதற்கு அழைத்திருந்தார். அவரும் அந்தப் பரிசேயருடைய வீட்டிற்குப் போய்ப் பந்தியில் அமர்ந்தார். 37 அந்நகரில் பாவியான பெண் ஒருவர் இருந்தார். இயேசு பரிசேயருடைய வீட்டில் உணவு அருந்தப் போகிறார் என்பது அவருக்குத் தெரியவந்தது. உடனே அவர் நறுமணத் தைலம் கொண்ட படிகச் சிமிழைக் கொண்டு வந்தார். 38 இயேசுவுக்குப் பின்னால் கால்மாட்டில் வந்து அவர் அழுது கொண்டே நின்றார்; அவருடைய காலடிகளைத் தம் கண்ணீரால் நனைத்து, தம் கூந்தலால் துடைத்து, தொடர்ந்து முத்தமிட்டு அக்காலடிகளில் நறுமணத் தைலம் பூசினார். 39 அவரை அழைத்த பரிசேயர் இதைக் கண்டு, "இவர் ஓர் இறைவாக்கினர் என்றால், தம்மைத் தொடுகிற இவள் யார், எத்தகையவள் என்று அறிந்திருப்பார்; இவள் பாவியாயிற்றே" என்று தமக்குள்ளே சொல்லிக்கொண்டார். 40 இயேசு அவரைப் பார்த்து, "சீமோனே, நான் உமக்கு ஒன்று சொல்லவேண்டும்" என்றார். அதற்கு அவர், "போதகரே, சொல்லும்” என்றார். 41 அப்பொழுது அவர், "கடன் கொடுப்பவர் ஒருவரிடம் ஒருவர் ஐந்நூறு தெனாரியமும் மற்றவர் ஐம்பது தெனாரியமுமாக இருவர் கடன் பட்டிருந்தனர். 42 கடனைத் தீர்க்க அவர்களால் முடியாமற் போகவே, இருவர் கடனையும் அவர் தள்ளுபடி செய்துவிட்டார். இவர்களுள் யார் அவரிடம் மிகுந்த அன்பு செலுத்துவார்?" என்று கேட்டார். 43 சீமோன் மறுமொழியாக, "அதிகக் கடனை யாருக்குத் தள்ளுபடி செய்தாரோ அவரே என நினைக்கிறேன்" என்றார். இயேசு அவரிடம், "நீர் சொன்னது சரியே" என்றார். 44 பின்பு அப்பெண்ணின் பக்கம் அவர் திரும்பி, சீமோனிடம், "இவரைப் பார்த்தீரா? நான் உம்முடைய வீட்டிற்குள் வந்தபோது நீர் என் காலடிகளைக் கழுவத் தண்ணீர் தரவில்லை; இவரோ தம் கண்ணீரால் என் காலடிகளை நனைத்து அவற்றைத் தமது கூந்தலால் துடைத்தார். 45 நீர் எனக்கு முத்தம் கொடுக்கவில்லை; இவரோ நான் உள்ளே வந்தது முதல் என் காலடிகளை ஓயாமல் முத்தமிட்டுக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறார். 46 நீர் எனது தலையில் எண்ணெய் பூசவில்லை ; இவரோ என் காலடிகளில் நறுமணத் தைலம் பூசினார். 47 ஆகவே நான் உமக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்: இவர் செய்த பல பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டன. ஏனெனில் இவர் மிகுதியாக அன்பு கூர்ந்தார். குறைவாக மன்னிப்புப் பெறுவோர் குறைவாக அன்பு செலுத்துவோர் ஆவர்" என்றார். 48 பின்பு அப்பெண்ணைப் பார்த்து, "உம் பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டன்" என்றார். 49 "பாவங்களையும் மன்னிக்கும் இவர் யார்?" என்று அவரோடு பந்தியில் அமர்ந்திருந்தவர்கள் தங்களுக்குள் சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள். 50 இயேசு அப்பெண்ணை நோக்கி, "உமது நம்பிக்கை உம்மை மீட்டது; அமைதியுடன் செல்க" என்றார்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது நிபந்தனையற்ற அன்பை நினைத்து நன்றியுணர்வோடு உம்மை அன்பு செய்ய அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! எனது பாவநிலையை ஏற்று, எனக்கு நீர் அன்பு செய்வதை நினைத்து மனமுருகி நன்றி கூறுகின்றேன். ஒரு போதும் உம்மிடமிருந்து பிரிந்து போகாத வரத்தை எனக்கருளும்.
36 One of the Pharisees asked Jesus to eat with him, and he went into the Pharisee’s house and took his place at the table. 37 And a woman in the city, who was a sinner, having learned that he was eating in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster jar of ointment.38 She stood behind him at his feet, weeping, and began to bathe his feet with her tears and to dry them with her hair. Then she continued kissing his feet and anointing them with the ointment. 39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what kind of woman this is who is touching him - that she is a sinner.” 40 Jesus spoke up and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” “Teacher,” he replied, “speak.” 41 “A certain creditor had two debtors; one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 When they could not pay, he canceled the debts for both of them. Now which of them will love him more?” 43 Simon answered, “I suppose the one for whom he canceled the greater debt.” And Jesus said to him, “You have judged rightly.” 44 Then turning toward the woman, he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has bathed my feet with her tears and dried them with her hair. 45 You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not stopped kissing my feet. 46 You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.47 Therefore, I tell you, her sins, which were many, have been forgiven; hence she has shown great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.” 48 Then he said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”49 But those who were at the table with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” 50 And he said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
Lord! Give me the grace to love you, considering your unconditional love.
Lord! I accept my sinfulness and thank you that you continue to love me. May I never be separated from you.
25 திருச்சட்ட அறிஞர் ஒருவர் எழுந்து அவரைச் சோதிக்கும் நோக்குடன், "போதகரே, நிலைவாழ்வை உரிமையாக்கிக் கொள்ள நான் என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும்?” என்று கேட்டார். 26 அதற்கு இயேசு, "திருச்சட்ட நூலில் என்ன எழுதியிருக்கிறது? அதில் நீர் என்ன வாசிக்கிறீர்?" என்று அவரிடம் கேட்டார். 27 அவர் மறுமொழியாக, உன் முழு இதயத்தோடும், முழு உள்ளத்தோடும், முழு ஆற்றலோடும், முழு மனத்தோடும் உன் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரிடம் அன்பு கூர்வாயாக. உன் மீது நீ அன்புகூர்வது போல் உனக்கு அடுத்திருப்பவர் மீதும் அன்பு கூர்வாயாக' என்று எழுதியுள்ளது" என்றார். 28 இயேசு , "சரியாய்ச் சொன்னீர்; அப்படியே செய்யும்; அப்பொழுது வாழ்வீர்" என்றார். 29 அவர், தம்மை நேர்மையாளர் எனக் காட்ட விரும்பி, "எனக்கு அடுத்திருப்பவர் யார்?" என்று இயேசுவிடம் கேட்டார். 30 அதற்கு அவர் மறு மொழியாகக் கூறிய உவமை : "ஒருவர் எருசலேமிலிருந்து எரிகோவுக்குப் போகும் போது கள்வர் கையில் அகப்பட்டார். அவருடைய ஆடைகளை அவர்கள் உரிந்து கொண்டு, அவரை அடித்துக் குற்றுயிராக விட்டுப் போனார்கள். 31 குரு ஒருவர் தற்செயலாய் அவ்வழியே வந்தார். அவர் அவரைக் கண்டதும் மறு பக்கமாக விலகிச் சென்றார். 32 அவ்வாறே லேவியர் ஒருவரும் அவ்விடத்துக்கு வந்து அவரைக் கண்டதும் மறுபக்கமாய் விலகிச் சென்றார். 33 ஆனால் அவ்வழியே பயணம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த சமாரியர் ஒருவர் அருகில் வந்து அவரைக் கண்ட போது அவர்மீது பரிவு கொண்டார். 34 அவர் அவரை அணுகி, காயங்களில் திராட்சை மதுவும் என்ணெயும் வார்த்து, அவற்றைக் கட்டி, தாம் பயணம் செய்த விலங்கின் மீது ஏற்றி, ஒரு சாவடிக்குக் கொண்டு போய் அவரைக் கவனித்துக் கொண்டார். 35 மறுநாள் இருதெனாரியத்தை எடுத்து, சாவடிப் பொறுப்பாளரிடம் கொடுத்து, " இவரைக் கவனித்துக் கொள்ளும் ; இதற்கு மேல் செலவானால் நான் திரும்பி வரும்போது உமக்குத் தருவேன்' என்றார். 36 "கள்வர் கையில் அகப்பட்டவருக்கு இம்மூவருள் எவர் அடுத்திருப்பவர் என உமக்குத் தோன்றுகிறது?" என்று இயேசு கேட்டார். 37 அதற்கு திருச்சட்ட அறிஞர், "அவருக்கு இரக்கம் காட்டியவரே" என்றார். இயேசு , "நீரும் போய் அப்படியே செய்யும்" என்று கூறினார்.
ஆண்டவரே! துன்புறுவோர் மீது நான் கனிவிரக்கம் கொள்ள அருள்தாரும்.
ஆழ்ந்து தியானித்தல்
ஆண்டவரே! தேவைப் பட்டோருக்கு அருள்கரம் நீட்டி நான் உதவி செய்ய வேண்டிய அருளை எனக்குத்தாரும். நீர் என்னைத் தூக்கியணைத்தீரே! உமக்கு நன்றி.
25 Just then a lawyer stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he said, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What do you read there?” 27 He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself.” 28 And he said to him, “You have given the right answer; do this, and you will live.” 29 But wanting to justify himself, he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbour?” 30 Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell into the hands of robbers, who stripped him, beat him, and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a priest was going down that road; and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan while travelling came near him; and when he saw him, he was moved with pity. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, having poured oil and wine on them. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said, ‘Take care of him; and when I come back, I will repay you whatever more you spend.’ 36 Which of these three, do you think, was a neighbour to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers?” 37 He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”
Lord! Give me the grace to have pity and mercy on the suffering people.
Lord! Give me the grace to help people in need. I thank you that you carried and embraced me.
1 'நான் உறுதியாக உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன் : ஆட்டுக் கொட்டிலில் வாயில் வழியாக நுழையாமல் வேறு வழியாக ஏறிக் குதிப்போர் திருடர் அல்லது கொள்ளையராய் இருப்பர். 2 வாயில் வழியாக நுழைபவர் ஆடுகளின் ஆயர். 3 அவருக்கே காவலர் வாயிலைத் திறந்துவிடுவார். ஆடுகளும் அவரது குரலுக்கே செவிசாய்க்கும். அவர் தம்முடைய சொந்த ஆடுகளைப் பெயர் சொல்லிக் கூப்பிட்டு வெளியே கூட்டிச் செல்வார். 4 தம்முடைய சொந்த ஆடுகள் அனைத்தையும் வெளியே ஓட்டி வந்த பின் அவர் அவற்றிற்கு முன் செல்வார். ஆடுகளும் அவரைப் பின்தொடரும். ஏனெனில் அவரது குரல் அவற்றுக்குத் தெரியும். 5 அறியாத ஒருவரை அவை பின் தொடரா. அவரை விட்டு அவை ஓடிப்போகும். ஏனெனில் அவரது குரல் அவற்றுக்குத் தெரியாது." இயேசு அவர்களிடம் உவமையாக இவ்வாறு சொன்னார். ஆனால் அவர் சொன்னதை அவர்கள் புரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை. 7 மீண்டும் இயேசு கூறியது: "உறுதியாக உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்: ஆடுகளுக்கு வாயில் நானே. 8 எனக்கு முன்பு வந்தவர் அனைவரும் திருடரும் கொள்ளையருமே . அவர்களுக்கு ஆடுகள் செவிசாய்க்கவில்லை. நானே வாயில் என் வழியாக நுழைவோருக்கு ஆபத்து இல்லை. அவர்கள் உள்ளே போவர்; வெளியே வருவர்; மேய்ச்சல் நிலத்தைக் கண்டுகொள்வர். 10 திருடுவதற்கும் கொல்வதற்கும் அழிப்பதற்கு மன்றித் திருடர் வேறெதற்கும் வருவதில்லை . ஆனால் நான் ஆடுகள் வாழ்வைப் பெறும் பொருட்டு, அதுவும் நிறைவாகப் பெறும் பொருட்டு வந்துள்ளேன்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது குரலுக்குச் செவிமடுத்து உம்மைப் பின்தொடர் எனக்கு அருள் தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! நிலையான, நிறைவாழ்வு தருவதற்காக நீர் இவ்வுலகில் வந்ததற்காக நான் நன்றி கூறுகின்றேன். எனது மீட்புக்காக உமது உயிரைக் கொடுத்து என்னை மீட்டதற்காக நன்றி கூறுகின்றேன். பிறரை உமது ஆட்டுக் கொட்டிலிற்கு அழைத்து வரும் கருவியாக என்னைப் பயன்படுத்தும்.
1 “Very truly, I tell you, anyone who does not enter the sheepfold by the gate but climbs in by another way is a thief and a bandit. 2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 They will not follow a stranger, but they will run from him because they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 Jesus used this figure of speech with them, but they did not understand what he was saying to them. 7 So again Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and bandits; but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
Lord! Grant me the grace to listen to your voice and follow you.
Lord! I thank you that you came into this world for granting eternal life in abundance. I thank you for redeeming me by laying down your life. Use me as an instrument to lead others into your sheepfold
.12 எனக்கு வலுவூட்டும் நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகின்றேன். ஏனெனில் நான் நம்பிக்கைக்குரியவன் என்று கருதி அவர் என்னைத் தம் திருத்தொண்டில் அமர்த்தினார். 13 முன்னர் நான் அவரைப் பழித்துரைத்தேன்; துன்புறுத்தினேன்; இழிவுபடுத்தினேன். ஆயினும் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டிராத நிலையில் நான் அவ்வாறு நடந்ததால், அவர் எனக்கு இரங்கினார். 14 இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவோடு இணைந்த நிலையில் ஏற்படும் நம்பிக்கையோடும் அன்போடும் நம் ஆண்டவரின் அருள் அளவின்றிப் பெருகியது. 15 'பாவிகளை மீட்க கிறிஸ்து இயேசு இவ்வுலகத்திற்கு வந்தார்.' இக்கூற்று உண்மையானது; எல்லாராலும் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளத் தக்கது. அந்தப் பாவிகளுள் முதன்மையான பாவி நான். 16 ஆயினும் கடவுள் எனக்கு இரங்கினார். நிலைவாழ்வை அடைய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ள இருப்போருக்கு நான் முன் மாதிரியாய் விளங்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக முதன் முதலில் என்னிடம் தம்முழுப் பொறுமையைக் காட்டினார். 17 அழிவில்லாத, கண்ணுக்குப் புலப்படாத , எக்காலத்துக்கும் அரசராயிருக்கின்ற ஒரே கடவுளுக்கு என்றென்றும் மாண்பும் மாட்சியும் உரித்தாகுக! ஆமென்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது இரக்கப் பெருக்கத்தை உணர்ந்து உமக்கு நன்றி கூற அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! என்னை நம்பி நீர் என்னிடம் ஒப்படைத்துள்ள நற்செய்திப் பணியை நான் செவ்வனே ஆற்ற என்னை நேர் பாதையில் ஆற்றுப்படுத்தும்.
12 I am grateful to Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because he judged me faithful and appointed me to his service, 13 even though I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and a man of violence. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, 14 and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 15 The saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom judged me faithful and appointed me to his service. 16 But for that very reason I received mercy, so that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display the utmost patience, making me an example to those who would come to believe in him for eternal life. 17 To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen.
Lord! Grant me the grace to realise your bountiful mercy and to thank you.
Lord! Guide and lead me in the right path so that I may carry on the task of evengelisation entrusted to me perfectly.
11 அதன்பின் இயேசு நயீன் என்னும் ஊருக்குச் சென்றார். அவருடைய சீடரும் பெருந்திரளான மக்களும் அவருடன் சென்றனர். 12 அவர் அவ்வூர் வாயிலை நெருங்கி வந்தபோது, இறந்த ஒருவரைச் சிலர் தூக்கி வந்தனர். தாய்க்கு அவர் ஒரே மகன்; அத்தாயோ கைம்பெண். அவ்வூரைச் சேர்ந்த பெருந்திரளான மக்களும் அவரோடு இருந்தனர். 13 அவரைக் கண்ட ஆண்டவர். அவர்மீது பரிவு கொண்டு, "அழாதீர்" என்றார். 14 அருகில் சென்று பாடையைத் தொட்டார். அதைத் தூக்கிச் சென்றவர்கள் நின்றார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவர், "இளைஞனே, நான் உனக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், எழுந்திடு" என்றார். 15 இறந்தவர் எழுந்து உட்கார்ந்து பேசத் தொடங்கினார். இயேசு அவரை அவர் தாயிடம் ஒப்படைத்தார். 16 அனைவரும் அச்சமுற்று, "நம்மிடையே பெரிய இறைவாக்கினர் ஒருவர் தோன்றியிருக்கிறார். கடவுள் தம் மக்களைத் தேடி வந்திருக்கிறார்" என்று சொல்லிக் கடவுளைப் போற்றிப் புகழ்ந்தனர். 17 அவரைப்பற்றிய இந்தச் செய்தி யூதேயா நாடு முழுவதிலும் சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளிலும் பரவியது.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது கனிவிரக்க அன்பைப் பட்டறிவாக உணர அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது வல்ல செயல்களில் நம்பிக்கை வைத்து நீர் அதிசயங்கள் செய்யும் இறைவன் என்று போற்றிட வரம் தாரும்.
11 Soon afterwards he went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went with him. 12 As he approached the gate of the town, a man who had died was being carried out. He was his mother’s only son, and she was a widow; and with her was a large crowd from the town. 13 When the Lord saw her, he had compassion for her and said to her, “Do not weep.” 14 Then he came forward and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, rise!” 15 The dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother. 16 Fear seized all of them; and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has risen among us!” and “God has looked favourably on his people!” 17 This word about him spread throughout Judea and all the surrounding country.
Lord! Grant me the grace to comprehend your compassion and understand the same by experience.
Lord! Give me the gift to believe in your great deeds and praise you for the same.
