பம்பரம் போல் பரபரப்பாக சுழுலும் வாழ்வில் ஒரமாய் ஒதுங்கி உன்னதர் இயேசுவோடு உரையாடி ஒளிதேடி இறைவாக்கை விளக்காக வாழ்வாக வரவேற்று வளம் பெறுக!
13:1 பாஸ்கா விழா தொடங்கவிருந்தது. தாம் இவ்வுலகத்தை விட்டுத் தந்தையிடம் செல்வதற்கான நேரம் வந்து விட்டது என்பதை இயேசு அறிந்திருந்தார். உலகில் வாழ்ந்த தமக்குரியோர்மேல் அன்பு கொண்டிருந்த அவர் அவர்கள் மேல் இறுதிவரையும் அன்பு செலுத்தினார். 2 இயேசுவைக் காட்டிக் கொடுக்கும் எண்ணத்தை அலகை சீமோனின் மகனாகிய யூதாசு இஸ்காரியோத்தின் உள்ளத்தில் எழச் செய்திருந்தது. இரவுணவு வேளையில், 3 தந்தை அனைத்தையும் தம் கையில் ஒப்படைத்துள்ளார் என்பதையும் தாம் கடவுளிடமிருந்து வந்தது போல் அவரிடமே திரும்பச் செல்லவேண்டும் என்பதையும் அறிந்தவராய், 4 இயேசு பந்தியிலிருந்து எழுந்து, தம் மேலுடையைக் கழற்றிவைத்துவிட்டு ஒரு துண்டை எடுத்து இடுப்பில் கட்டிக் கொண்டார். 5 பின்னர் ஒரு குவளையில் தண்ணீர் எடுத்துச் சீடர்களுடைய காலடிகளைக் கழுவி இடுப்பில் கட்டியிருந்த துண்டால் துடைக்கத் தொடங்கினார். 6 சீமோன் பேதுருவிடம் இயேசுவந்தபோது அவர், "ஆண்டவரே, நீரா என் காலடிகளைக் கழுவப் போகிறீர்?" என்று கேட்டார். 7 இயேசு மறுமொழியாக, "நான் செய்வது இன்னதென்று இப்போது உனக்குப் புரியாது; பின்னரே புரிந்து கொள்வாய்" என்றார். 8 பேதுரு அவரிடம், "நீர் என் காலடிகளைக் கழுவ விடவேமாட்டேன்" என்றார். இயேசு அவரைப் பார்த்து, "நான் உன் காலடிகளைக் கழுவாவிட்டால் என்னோடு உனக்குப் பங்கு இல்லை" என்றார். அப்போது சீமோன் பேதுரு, "அப்படியானால் ஆண்டவரே, என் காலடிகளை மட்டும் அல்ல, என் கைகளையும் தலையையும் கூடக் கழுவும்” என்றார். 10 இயேசு அவரிடம், "குளித்துவிட்டவர் தம் காலடிகளை மட்டும் கழுவினால் போதும். அவர் தூய்மையாகிவிடுவார். நீங்களும் தூய்மையாய் இருக்கிறீர்கள். ஆனாலும் அனைவரும் தூய்மையாய் இல்லை" என்றார். 11 தம்மைக் காட்டிக் கொடுப்பவன் எவன் என்று அவருக்கு ஏற்கெனவே தெரிந்திருந்தது. எனவேதான் 'உங்களுள் அனைவரும் தூய்மையாய் இல்லை' என்றார். 12 அவர்களுடைய காலடிகளைக் கழுவிய பின் இயேசு தம் மேலுடையை அணிந்து கொண்டு மீண்டும் பந்தியில் அமர்ந்து அவர்களிடம் கூறியது: "நான் உங்களுக்குச் செய்தது என்னவென்று உங்களுக்குப் புரிந்ததா? 13 நீங்கள் என்னைப் போதகர்' என்றும் 'ஆண்டவர்' என்றும் அழைக்கிறீர்கள். நீங்கள் அவ்வாறு கூப்பிடுவது முறையே. நான் போதகர்தான், ஆண்டவர்தான். 14 ஆகவே ஆண்டவரும் போதகருமான நான் உங்கள் காலடிகளைக் கழுவினேன் என்றால் நீங்களும் ஒருவர் மற்றவருடைய காலடிகளைக் கழுவக் கடமைப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்கள். 15 நான் செய்தது போல நீங்களும் செய்யுமாறு நான் உங்களுக்கு முன்மாதிரி காட்டினேன். 16 பணியாளர் தலைவரைவிடப் பெரியவர் அல்ல; தூது அனுப்பப்பட்டவரும் அவரை அனுப்பியவரை விடப் பெரியவர் அல்ல என உறுதியாக உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன். 17 இவற்றை நீங்கள் அறிந்து அதன் படி நடப்பீர்கள் என்றால் நீங்கள் பேறுபெற்றவர்கள். 34 'ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடம் அன்பு செலுத்துங்கள்' என்னும் புதிய கட்டளையை நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன். நான் உங்களிடம் அன்பு செலுத்தியது போல நீங்களும் ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடம் அன்பு செலுத்துங்கள். 35 நீங்கள் ஒருவர் மற்றவருக்குச் செலுத்தும் அன்பிலிருந்து நீங்கள் என் சீடர்கள் என்பதை எல்லாரும் அறிந்து கொள்வர்" என்றார்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகனின் தாழ்ச்சியை எனக்கு அளித்தருளும்.
அப்பா தந்தாய்! உமது மகன் கொடுத்தப் புதிய கட்டளையை நான் கடைப்பிடித்து, அவரது உண்மையான சீடராக வாழ அருள் தாரும்.
1 Now before the festival of the Passover, Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart from this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. 2 The devil had already put it into the heart of Judas son of Simon Iscariot to betray him. And during supper 3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going to God, 4 got up from the table, took off his outer robe, and tied a towel around himself. 5 Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel that was tied around him. 6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” 7 Jesus answered, “You do not know now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” 8 Peter said to him, “You will never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no share with me.” 9 Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!” 10 Jesus said to him, “One who has bathed does not need to wash, except for the feet, but is entirely clean. And you are clean, though not all of you.” 11 For he knew who was to betray him; for this reason he said, “Not all of you are clean.” 12 After he had washed their feet, had put on his robe, and had returned to the table, he said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? 13 You call me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for that is what I am. 14 So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. 15 For I have set you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you. 16 Very truly, I tell you, servants are not greater than their master, nor are messengers greater than the one who sent them. 17 If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them. I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Lord! Grant the humility of your son to me.
Lord! Give me the grace to keep up the new commandment given by your son and to live as his true disciple. .
36 பின்னர் இயேசு சீடர்களுடன் கெத்சமனி என்னும் இடத்திற்கு வந்தார். அவர், "நான் அங்கே போய் இறைவனிடம் வேண்டும் வரை இங்கே அமர்ந்திருங்கள்" என்று அவர்களிடம் கூறி, 37 பேதுருவையும் செபதேயுவின் மக்கள் இருவரையும் தம்முடன் கூட்டிச் சென்றார். அப்போது அவர் துயரமும் மனக்கலக்கமும் அடையத்தொடங்கினார். 38 அவர், "எனது உள்ளம் சாவு வருமளவுக்கு ஆழ்துயரம் கொண்டுள்ளது. நீங்கள் என்னோடு இங்கேயே தங்கி விழித்திருங்கள்” என்று அவர்களிடம் கூறினார். 39 பிறகு அவர் சற்று அப்பால் சென்று முகங்குப்புற விழுந்து, "என் தந்தையே, முடிந்தால் இத்துன்பக் கிண்ணம் என்னை விட்டு அகலட்டும். ஆனாலும் என் விருப்பப்படி அல்ல, உம் விருப்பப்படியே நிகழட்டும்" என்று கூறி இறைவனிடம் வேண்டினார். 40 அதன் பின்பு அவர் சீடர்களிடம் வந்து அவர்கள் உறங்கிக் கொண்டிருப்பதைக் கண்டு பேதுருவிடம், "ஒரு மணி நேரம் கூட என்னோடு விழித்திருக்க உங்களுக்கு வலுவில்லையா? 41 உங்கள் மனம் ஆர்வமுடையதுதான்; ஆனால் உடல் வலுவற்றது. எனவே சோதனைக்கு உட்படாதிருக்க விழித்திருந்து இறைவனிடம் வேண்டுங்கள்" என்றார். 42 மீண்டும் சென்று, "என் தந்தையே, நான் குடித்தாலன்றி இத்துன்பக்கிண்ணம் அகல முடியாதென்றால், உமது திருவுளப்படியே ஆகட்டும்" என்று இரண்டாம் முறையாக இறைவனிடம் வேண்டினார். 43 அவர் திரும்பவும் வந்தபோது சீடர்கள் உறங்கிக் கொண்டிருப்பதைக் கண்டார். அவர்களுடைய கண்கள் தூக்கக் கலக்கமாய் இருந்தன. 44 அவர் அவர்களை விட்டு மீண்டும் சென்று மறுபடியும் அதே வார்த்தைகளைச் சொல்லி மூன்றாம் முறையாக இறைவனிடம் வேண்டினார். 45 பிறகு சீடர்களிடம் வந்து, "இன்னும் உறங்கி ஓய்வெடுக்கிறீர்களா? பாருங்கள், நேரம் நெருங்கி வந்து விட்டது. மானிட மகன் பாவிகளின் கையில் ஒப்புவிக்கப்படுகிறார். 46 எழுந்திருங்கள், போவோம். இதோ! என்னைக் காட்டிக்கொடுப்பவன் நெருங்கி வந்து விட்டான்" என்று கூறினார்.
ஆண்டவரே! என்றும் உமது சித்தத்தை அறிந்து, அதன்படி நடந்து உம்மை மகிமைப்படுத்த எனக்கு அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! கெத்சமனித் தோட்டத்தில் இரத்த வியர்வை அனுபவத்தை நீர் பெற்றும் உமது தந்தையின் சித்தப்படி நடக்க முனைப்பாய் இருந்தீர். தந்தையின் விருப்பத்தை அறிந்து அதன்படி செயல்பட எனக்கு வரம் தாரும்.
36 Then Jesus went with the disciples to a place called Gethsemane; and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” 37 He took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be grieved and agitated. 38 Then he said to them, “I am deeply grieved, even to death; remain here, and stay awake with me.” 39 And going a little farther, he threw himself on the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup of suffering pass from me; yet not what I want but what you want.” 40 Then he came to the disciples and found them sleeping; and he said to Peter, “So, could you not stay awake with me one hour? 41 Stay awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 42 Again he went away for the second time and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.” 43 Again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. 44 So leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words. 45 Then he came to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? See, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Get up, let us be going. See, my betrayer is at hand.”
Lord! Grant the grace to glorify you, by understanding and following your will.
Lord! In spite of undergoing the sweating of blood experience at Gethsemane, you were ready to carry on the will of the father. Give me the grace to realise the will of the father and do accordingly.
47 இயேசு தொடர்ந்து பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தபோது. இதோ! மக்கள் கூட்டமாய் வந்தனர், பன்னிருவருள் ஒருவனான யூதாசு என்பவன் அவர்களுக்கு முன் வந்து அவரை முத்தமிட நெருங்கினான். 48 இயேசு அவனிடம், "யூதாசே, முத்தமிட்டா மானிட மகனைக் காட்டிக் கொடுக்கப் போகிறாய்" ? என்றார், 49 அவரைச் சூழநின்றவர்கள் நிகழப்போவதை உணர்ந்து, "ஆண்டவரே, வாளால் வெட்டலாமா?” என்று கேட்டார்கள், 50 அப்பொழுது அவர்களுள் ஒருவர் தலைமைக் குருவின் பணியாளரைத் தாக்கி அவருடைய வலக் காதைத் துண்டித்தார். 51 இயேசு அவர்களைப்பார்து, "விடுங்கள், போதும்" என்று கூறி அவருடைய காதைத் தொட்டு நலமாக்கினார், 52 அவர் தம்மிடம் வந்த தலைமைக் குருக்களையும் கோவில் காவல் தலைவர்களையும் மூப்பர்களையும் பார்த்து, "ஒரு கள்வனைப் பிடிக்க வருவதுபோல் நீங்கள் வாள்களோடும், தடிகளோடும் வந்தது ஏன்? 53 நான் நாள் தோறும் கோவிலில் உங்களோடு இருந்தும் நீங்கள் என்னைப் பிடிக்கவில்லையே. ஆனால் இது உங்களுடைய நேரம் : இப்போது இருள் அதிகாரம் செலுத்துகிறது" என்றார்.
ஆண்டவரே! நான் சோதனையில் விழாமல் இருக்க விழிப்போடு செபத்தில் நிலைத்திருக்க அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! இருள் என் மீது அதிகாரம் செலுத்த விடாதேயும். உமது மகன் இயேசுவைத்தவிர வேறெதுவும் எனது உள்ளத்தை ஆட்கொள்ள விடாதேயும்.
Lord! Grant me the grace to not to fall into temptation and to continue to be awake in prayer.
Lord! Do not allow darkness rule over me; and do not permit anything else to retain control over me except Jesus, your son.
54 பின்னர் அவர்கள் இயேசுவைக் கைது செய்து இழுத்துச் சென்று தலைமைக் குருவின் வீட்டுக்குக் கொண்டு போனார்கள். பேதுரு தொலையில் அவரைப் பின்தொடர்ந்தார். 55 வீட்டு உள்முற்றத்தின் நடுவில் நெருப்பு மூட்டி, அதைச் சுற்றி அவர்கள் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார்கள். பேதுருவும் அவர்களோடு இருந்தார். 56 அப்போது பணிப்பெண் ஒருவர் நெருப்பின் அருகில் அவர் அமர்ந்திருப்பதைக்கண்டு, அவரை, உற்றுப்பார்த்து." இவனும் அவனோடு இருந்தவன்" என்றார். 57 அவரோ, "அமமா, அவரை எனக்குத் தெரியாது" என்று மறுதலித்தார். 58 சிறிது நேரத்திற்குப்பின் அவரைக் கண்ட வேறு ஒருவர்," நீயும் அவர்களைச் சேர்ந்தவன்தான்" என்றார். பேதுரு, "இல்லையப்பா” என்றார். 59 ஏறக்குறைய ஒரு மணிநேரத்திற்குப் பின்பு மற்றொருவர், "உண்மையாகவே இவனும் அவனோடு இருந்தான்: இவனும் கலிலேயன்தான்" என்று வலியுறுத்திக் கூறினார். 60 பேதுருவோ, "நீர் குறிப்பிடுபவரை எனக்குத் தெரியாது" என்றார். உடனேயே, அவர் தொடர்ந்து பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்தபோதே, சேவல் கூவிற்று, 61 ஆண்டவர் திரும்பி பேதுருவைக்கூர்ந்து நோக்கினார்: "இன்று" சேவல் கூவு முன் நீ என்னை மும்முறை மறுதலிப்பாய்" என்று ஆண்டவர் தமக்குக் கூறியதைப் பேதுரு நினைவு கூர்ந்து, 62 வெளியே சென்று மனம் நொந்து அழுதார்.
ஆண்டவரே! எந்தவித அச்சமுமின்றி உமது மகனைப் பற்றிச் சான்று பகர எனக்குத் தைரியத்தை தாரும்.
54 Then they seized him and led him away, bringing him into the high priest’s house. But Peter was following at a distance. 55 When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat among them. 56 Then a servant-girl, seeing him in the firelight, stared at him and said, “This man also was with him.” 57 But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know him.” 58 A little later someone else, on seeing him, said, “You also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not!” 59 Then about an hour later still another kept insisting, “Surely this man also was with him; for he is a Galilean.” 60 But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are talking about!” At that moment, while he was still speaking, the cock crowed. 61 The Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said to him, “Before the cock crows today, you will deny me three times.” 62 And he went out and wept bitterly.
Lord! Deliver me from the situations that lead to temptations.
Lord! Give me the courage to be a witness to your son without fear of any kind.
1 பின்னர் பிலாத்து இயேசுவைச் சாட்டையால் அடிக்கச் செய்தான். 2 வீரர்கள் ஒரு முள்முடி பின்னி அவர் தலையின் மேல் வைத்து, செந்நிற மேலுடையை அவருக்கு அணிவித்தார்கள். 3 அவரிடம் வந்து, "யூதரின் அரசே வாழ்க!" என்று சொல்லி அவருடைய கன்னத்தில் அறைந்தார்கள். 4 பிலாத்து மீண்டும் வெளியே வந்து அவர்களிடம், "அவனை நான் உங்கள் முன் வெளியே கூட்டிவருகிறேன், பாருங்கள். அவனிடம் நான் குற்றம் ஒன்றும் காணவில்லை என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்" என்றான். 5 இயேசு முள் முடியும் செந்நிற மேலுடையும் அணிந்தவராய் வெளியே வந்தார். பிலாத்து அவர்களிடம், "இதோ! மனிதன்" என்றான். 6 அவரைக் கண்டதும் தலைமைக் குருக்களும் காவலர்களும், "சிலுவையில் அறையும், சிலுவையில் அறையும் " என்று கத்தினார்கள். பிலாத்து அவர்களிடம், "நீங்களே இவனைக் கொண்டு போய்ச் சிலுவையில் அறையுங்கள். இவனிடம் குற்றம் இருப்பதாக எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை " என்றான். 7 யூதர்கள் அவரைப் பார்த்து, "எங்களுக்கு ஒரு சட்டம் உண்டு. அச்சட்டத்தின்படி இவன் சாகவேண்டும். ஏனெனில் இவன் தன்னையே இறைமகன் என உரிமை கொண்டாடுகிறான்" என்ற னர். 8. பிலாத்து இதைக் கேட்டதும் இன்னும் மிகுதியாக அஞ்சினான். 9 அவன் மீண்டும் ஆளுநர் மாளிகைக்குச் சென்று இயேசுவிடம், "நீ எங்கிருந்து வந்தவன்?" என்று கேட்டான். ஆனால் இயேசு அவனுக்குப் பதில் கூறவில்லை. 10 அப்போது பிலாத்து, "என்னோடு பேசமாட்டாயா? உன்னை விடுதலை செய்யவும் என்கு அதிகாரம் உண்டு, உன்னைச் சிலுவையில் அறையவும் எனக்கு அதிகாரம் உண்டு என்பது உனக்குத் தெரியாதா?" என்றான். 11 இயேசு மறுமொழியாக, "மேலிருந்து அருளப்படாவிடில் உமக்கு என் மேல் எந்த அதிகாரமும் இராது. ஆகவே என்னை உம்மிடம் ஒப்புவித்தவன்தான் பெரும் பாவம் செய்தவன்" என்றார். 12 அது முதல் பிலாத்து அவரை விடுவிக்க வழிதேடினான். ஆனால் யூதர்கள், "நீர் இவனை விடுவித்தால் சீசருடைய நண்பராய் இருக்க முடியாது. தம்மையே அரசராக்கிக் கொள்ளும் எவரும் சீசருக்கு எதிரி" என்றார்கள். 13 இவ்வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டதும் பிலாத்து இயேசுவை வெளியே கூட்டி வந்தான். கல்தளம்' என்னும் இடத்தில் இருந்த நடுவர் இருக்கை மீது அமர்ந்தான். அந்த இடத்திற்கு எபிரேய மொழியில் கபதா' என்பது பெயர். 14 அன்று பாஸ்கா விழாவுக்கு ஏற்பாடு செய்யும் நாள். ஏறக்குறைய நண்பகல் வேளை. பிலாத்து யூதர்களிடம் . "இதோ, உங்கள் அரசன்!" என்றான். 15 அவர்கள், "ஒழிக! ஒழிக! அவனைச் சிலுவையில் அறையும்" என்று கத்தினார்கள். பிலாத்து அவர்களிடம், "உங்கள் அரசனை நான் சிலுவையில் அறைய வேண்டும் என்கிறீர்களா?" என்று கேட்டான். அதற்குத் தலைமைக் குருக்கள், "எங்களுக்குச் சீசரைத் தவிர வேறு அரசர் இல்லை" என்றார்கள். 16 அப்போது பிலாத்து அவரைச் சிலுவையில் அறையுமாறு அவர்களிடம் ஒப்புவித்தான். அவர்கள் இயேசுவைத் தம் பொறுப்பில் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள்.
ஆண்டவரே ! உமது மகனைத்தவிர எனது இதயத்தில் வேறுயாருக்கும் நான் இடம் கொடாதிருக்க அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது அன்பிற்கும் இவவுலகப் பற்றுக்குமிடையே நான் ஊசலாடாதவாறு என்னை வழிநடத்தும்.
1 Then Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged. 2 And the soldiers wove a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and they dressed him in a purple robe. 3 They kept coming up to him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” and striking him on the face. 4 Pilate went out again and said to them, “Look, I am bringing him out to you to let you know that I find no case against him.” 5 So Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!” 6 When the chief priests and the police saw him, they shouted, “Crucify him! Crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves and crucify him; I find no case against him.” 7 The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and according to that law he ought to die because he has claimed to be the Son of God.” 8 Now when Pilate heard this, he was more afraid than ever. 9 He entered his headquarters again and asked Jesus, “Where are you from?” But Jesus gave him no answer. 10 Pilate therefore said to him, “Do you refuse to speak to me? Do you not know that I have power to release you, and power to crucify you?” 11 Jesus answered him, “You would have no power over me unless it had been given you from above; therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.” 12 From then on Pilate tried to release him, but the Jews cried out, “If you release this man, you are no friend of the emperor. Everyone who claims to be a king sets himself against the emperor.” 13 When Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus outside and sat on the judge’s bench at a place called The Stone Pavement, or in Hebrew[c] Gabbatha. 14 Now it was the day of Preparation for the Passover; and it was about noon. He said to the Jews, “Here is your King!” 15 They cried out, “Away with him! Away with him! Crucify him!” Pilate asked them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but the emperor.” 16 Then he handed him over to them to be crucified.
Lord! Give me the grace that I may provide space in my heart only to Jesus, your son, and not to anyone else.
Lord! Lead and guide me that I may not vacillate between your love and the worldly desires.
26 அவர்கள் இயேசுவை இழுத்துச் சென்றுகொண்டிருந்தபோது சிரேன் ஊரைச் சேர்ந்த சீமோன் என்பவர் வயல் வெளியிலிருந்து வந்து கொண்டிருந்தார். அவர்கள் அவரைப் பிடித்து அவர்மேல் இயேசுவின் சிலுவையை வைத்து. அவருக்குப்பின் அதைச் சுமந்து கொண்டு போகச் செய்தார்கள். 27 பெருந்திரளாள மக்களும் அவருக்காக மாரடித்துப் புலம்பி ஒப்பாரி வைத்த பெண்களும் அவர் பின்னே சென்றார்கள். 28 இயேசு அப்பெண்கள் பக்கம் திரும்பி, "எருசலேம் மகளிரே," நீங்கள் எனக்காக அழவேண்டாம்: மாறாக உங்களுக்காகவும் உங்கள் மக்களுக்காகவும் அழுங்கள். 29 ஏனெனில் இதோ, ஒரு காலம் வரும். அப்போது 'மலடிகள் பேறு பெற்றோர்' என்றும் பிள்ளை பெறாதோரும் பால் கொடாதோரும் பேறு பெற்றோர்' என்றும் சொல்வார்கள். 30 அப்போது அவர்கள் மலைகளைப் பார்த்து, எங்கள் மேல் விழுங்கள்' எனவும் குன்றுகளைப் பார்த்து, 'எங்களை மூடிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்' எனவும் சொல்வார்கள். 31 பச்சை மரத்துக்கே இவ்வாறு செய்கிறார்கள் என்றால் பட்ட மரத்துக்கு என்னதான் செய்யமாட்டார்கள் !" என்றார்.
ஆண்டவரே ! என் வாழ்வில் வரும் அன்றாடச் சிலுவையை நான் மனமுவந்து ஏற்று நடக்க அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகன் எனக்காகச் சிலுவை சுமந்தார். நான் பிறரது துன்பங்களைத் துடைத்து, அவர்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் அளிக்குமாறு என்னைப் பயன்படுத்தும்.
26 As they led him away, they seized a man, Simon of Cyrene, who was coming from the country, and they laid the cross on him, and made him carry it behind Jesus. 27 A great number of the people followed him, and among them were women who were beating their breasts and wailing for him. 28 But Jesus turned to them and said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. 29 For the days are surely coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.’ 30 Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us’; and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’ 31 For if they do this when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”
Lord! Give me the grace to willingly accept the crosses of my daily life and walk with you.
Lord! Your son carried the cross for my sake. Use me that I may wipe out the sufferings of others and be a source of comfort for them. .
24."என் ஆடைகளைத் தங்களுக்குள் பகிர்ந்து என் உடை மீது சீட்டுப்போட்டார்கள்" என்னும் மறை நூல் வாக்கு இவ்வாறு நிறைவேறியது. 25 சிலுவை அருகில் இயேசுவின் தாயும், தாயின் சகோதரியும் குளோப்பாவின் மனைவியுமான மரியாவும், மகதலா மரியாவும் நின்று கொண்டிருந்தனர், 26 இயேசு தம் தாயையும் அருகில் நின்ற தம் அன்புச் சீடரையும் கண்டு தம் தாயிடம், "அம்மா, இவரே உம் மகன்" என்றார், 27 பின்னர் தம் சீடரிடம், "இவரே உம் தாய்" என்றார். அந்நேர முதல் அச்சீடர் அவரைத் தம் வீட்டில் எற்று ஆதரவு அளித்து வந்தார். 28 இதன்பின், அனைத்தும் நிறைவேறிவிட்டது என்பதை அறிந்த இயேசு, "தாகமாய் இருக்கிறது" என்றார், மறை நூலில் எழுதியுள்ளது நிறைவேறவே இவ்வாறு சொன்னார். 29 அங்கே ஒரு பாத்திரம் நிறையப் புளித்த திராட்சை இரசம் இருந்தது. அதில் கடற்பஞ்சை நன்கு தோய்த்து ஈசோப்புத் தண்டில் பொருத்தி அதை அவர்கள் அவரது வாயில் வைத்தார்கள், 30 அந்த இரசத்தைக் குடித்ததும் இயேசு, "எல்லாம் நிறைவேறிற்று" என்று கூறித் தலை சாய்த்து ஆவியை ஒப்படைத்தார். 31 அன்று பாஸ்கா விழாவுக்கு எற்பாடு செய்யும் நாள். அடுத்த நாள் ஓய்வு நாளாகவும் பெருநாளாகவும் இருந்தது. எனவே அன்று சிலுவையில் உடல்கள் தொங்கலாகா என்பற்காகக் கால்களை முறித்துச் சடலங்களை எடுத்துவிடுமாறு யூதர்கள் பிலாத்திடம் கேட்டுகொண்டார்கள். 32 ஆகவே படைவீரர் வந்து இயேசுவோடு சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்டிருந்தவருள் ஒருவனுடைய கால்களை முதலில் முறித்தார்கள் : பின்னர் மற்றவனுடைய கால்களையும் முறித்தார்கள், 33பின்பு அவர்கள் இயேசுவிடம் வந்தார்கள். அவர் ஏற்கெனவே இறந்து போயிருந்ததைக் கண்டு அவருடைய கால்களை முறிக்கவில்லை . 34 ஆனால் படைவீரருள் ஒருவர் இயேசுவின் விலாவை ஈட்டியால் குத்தினார். உடனே இரத்தமும் தண்ணீ ரும் வடிந்தன. 35 இதை நேரில் கண்டவரே இதற்குச் சாட்சி. அவரது சான்று உண்மையானதே. அவர் உண்மையையே கூறுகிறார் என்பது அவருக்குத் தெரியும். நீங்களும் நம்ப வேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவே அவர் இதைக் கூறுகிறார். 36 "எந்த எலும்பும் முறிபடாது” என்னும் மறை நூல் வாக்கு இவ்வாறு நிறைவேறியது. 37 மேலும் "தாங்கள் ஊடுருவக் குத்தியவரை உற்று நோக்குவார்கள்" என்றும் மறை நூல் கூறுகிறது.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகனின் கல்வாரி அன்பை நினைத்து நான் மனமுருக அருள்தாரும்!
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகன் இறந்த பின்னும், திருமுழுக்கு , நற்கருணை என்ற அருட்சாதனைங்களின் அடையாளமாகத் தமது இரத்தத்தையும் தண்ணீரையும் தானமாக அளித்தார். நான் நற்கருணையில் பக்தியோடு பங்கேற்று திருமுழுக்கின் வழியாக நான் பெற்ற அழைப்பை உணர்ந்து உமக்கு நன்றி கூற என்னை வழிநடத்தும்.
So they took Jesus; 17 and carrying the cross by himself, he went out to what is called The Place of the Skull, which in Hebrew is called Golgotha. 18 There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, with Jesus between them. 19 Pilate also had an inscription written and put on the cross. It read, “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.” 20 Many of the Jews read this inscription, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, in Latin, and in Greek. 21 Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, “Do not write, ‘The King of the Jews,’ but, ‘This man said, I am King of the Jews.’” 22 Pilate answered, “What I have written I have written.” 23 When the soldiers had crucified Jesus, they took his clothes and divided them into four parts, one for each soldier. They also took his tunic; now the tunic was seamless, woven in one piece from the top. 24 So they said to one another, “Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it to see who will get it.” This was to fulfil what the scripture says, “They divided my clothes among themselves, and for my clothing they cast lots.” 25 And that is what the soldiers did. Meanwhile, standing near the cross of Jesus were his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing beside her, he said to his mother, “Woman, here is your son.” 27 Then he said to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his own home. 28 After this, when Jesus knew that all was now finished, he said (in order to fulfill the scripture), “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar full of sour wine was standing there. So they put a sponge full of the wine on a branch of hyssop and held it to his mouth. 30 When Jesus had received the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. 31 Since it was the day of Preparation, the Jews did not want the bodies left on the cross during the Sabbath, especially because that Sabbath was a day of great solemnity. So they asked Pilate to have the legs of the crucified men broken and the bodies removed. 32 Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who had been crucified with him. 33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once blood and water came out. 35 (He who saw this has testified so that you also may believe. His testimony is true, and he knows that he tells the truth.) 36 These things occurred so that the scripture might be fulfilled, “None of his bones shall be broken.” 37 And again another passage of scripture says, “They will look on the one whom they have pierced.”
Lord! Give me the grace to think of the love shown by Jesus, your son, at Calvary and pray fervently.
Lord! Even after His death, your son gifted blood and water as symbols of the sacraments, Baptism and Eucharist. Kindly lead me and guide me to partake in the Eucharist with dedication and devotion, realising the call I received through baptism and to thank you.
