A Brief History
This Church dedicated to Our Lady of Perpetual Help was built in 1967 for the people working in the factories situated at Manali by the Congregation of St. Francis of Assisi. Since then it was pastored by the Franciscan Missionaries. On 17th December 1974 a small church with thatched roof was built and made as sub-station to Madhavaram till 1977. In the year 1990 it was made into a separate Parish with Assisi Nagar and MMDA, Mathur as sub-stations. Now the Parish is looked after by the Archdiocesan Priests.
