பம்பரம் போல் பரபரப்பாக சுழுலும் வாழ்வில் ஒரமாய் ஒதுங்கி உன்னதர் இயேசுவோடு உரையாடி ஒளிதேடி இறைவாக்கை விளக்காக வாழ்வாக வரவேற்று வளம் பெறுக!
38 அரிமத்தியா ஊரைச் சேர்ந்த யோசேப்பு என்பவர் இயேசுவின் சீடர்களுள் ஒருவர்; யூதருக்கு அஞ்சியதால் தம்மைச் சீடர் என்று வெளிப்படையாகக் காட்டிக்கொள்ளாதவர். அவர் இயேசுவின் உடலை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு போகப் பிலாத்திடம் அனுமதி கேட்டார். பிலாத்தும் அனுமதி கொடுத்தான். யோசேப்பு வந்து இயேசுவின் சடலத்தை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போனார். 39 முன்பு ஒருமுறை இரவில் இயேசுவிடம் வந்த நிக்கதேம் என்பவரும் அங்கு வந்து சேர்ந்தார். அவர் வெள்ளைப்போளமும் சந்தனத் தூளும் கலந்து ஏறக்குறைய முப்பது கிலோ கிராம் கொண்டுவந்தார் 40 அவர்கள் இயேசுவின் உடலை எடுத்து யூத அடக்க முறைப்படி நறுமணப் பொருள்களுடன் துணிகளால் சுற்றிக் கட்டினார்கள், 41 அவர் சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்டிருந்த இடத்தில் ஒரு தோட்டம் இருந்தது. அங்கே புதிய கல்லறை ஒன்று இருந்தது. அதில் அதுவரை யாரும் அடக்கம் செய்யப்படவில்லை. 42 அன்று பாஸ்கா விழாவுக்கு ஆயத்த நாளாய் இருந்ததாலும் அக்கல்லறை அருகில் இருந்ததாலும் அவர்கள் இயேசுவை அதில் அடக்கம் செய்தார்கள்.
ஆண்டவரே! நான் இவ்வுலகப் பற்றுக்கு இறந்து பட்டு புதைக்கப்பட்டுப் புதுப் பிறப்படைய அருள் தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகனின் நிபந்தனையற்ற அன்பை நான் வெளிப்படையாக அறிக்கையிட்டு அவருக்குப் பணிபுரிய எனக்குத் தைரியத்தை அளித்தருளும்.
38 After these things, Joseph of Arimathea, who was a disciple of Jesus, though a secret one because of his fear of the Jews, asked Pilate to let him take away the body of Jesus. Pilate gave him permission; so he came and removed his body. 39 Nicodemus, who had at first come to Jesus by night, also came, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, weighing about a hundred pounds. 40 They took the body of Jesus and wrapped it with the spices in linen cloths, according to the burial custom of the Jews. 41 Now there was a garden in the place where he was crucified, and in the garden there was a new tomb in which no one had ever been laid. 42 And so, because it was the Jewish day of Preparation, and the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.
Lord! Grant me the grace that the worldly desires in me get perished and buried and that I may be born anew.
Lord! Give me the courage to proclaim openly the unconditional love of your son and and to serve him.
11 மரியா; கல்லறைக்கு வெளியே நின்று அழுது கொண்டிருந்தார்: அழுது கொண்டே கல்லறைக்குள் குனிந்து பார்த்தார். 12 அங்கே வெண்ணாடை அணிந்த இரு வானதூதரை அவர் கண்டார். இயேசுவின் உடலை வைத்திருந்த இடத்தில் ஒருவர் தலைமாட்டிலும் மற்றவர் கால்மாட்டிலுமாக அவர்கள் அமர்ந்திருந்தார்கள். 13 அவர்கள் மரியாவிடம், "அம்மா, ஏன் அழுகிறீர்?" என்று கேட்டார்கள். அவர் அவர்களிடம், "என் ஆண்டவரை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு போய்விட்டனர்; அவரை எங்கே வைத்தனரோ எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை " என்றார். 14 இப்படிச் சொல்லிவிட்டு அவர் திரும்பிப் பார்த்தபோது இயேசு நிற்பதைக் கண்டார். ஆனால் அங்கு நிற்பவர் இயேசு என்று அவர் அறிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை . 15 இயேசு அவரிடம், "ஏனம்மா அழுகிறாய் ? யாரைத் தேடுகிறாய்?" என்று கேட்டார். மரியா அவரைத் தோட்டக்காரர் என்று நினைத்து அவரிடம், "ஐயா, நீர் அவரைத் தூக்கிக் கொண்டு போயிருந்தால் எங்கே வைத்தீர் எனச் சொல்லும், நான் அவரை எடுத்துச் செல்வேன்" என்றார். 16 இயேசு அவரிடம், "மரியா" என்றார். மரியா திரும்பிப் பார்த்து, "ரபூனி" என்றார். இந்த எபிரேயச் சொல்லுக்கு போதகரே' என்பது பொருள். 17 இயேசு அவரிடம், " என்னை இப்படிப் பற்றிக் கொள்ளாதே. நான் என் தந்தையிடம் இன்னும் செல்லவில்லை . நீ என் சகோதரர்களிடம் சென்று அவர்களிடம், என் தந்தையும் உங்கள் தந்தையும் என் கடவுளும் உங்கள் கடவுளுமானவரிடம் செல்லவிருக்கிறேன்' எனச் சொல்" என்றார். 18 மகதலா மரியா சீடரிடம் சென்று, "நான் ஆண்டவரைக் கண்டேன்" என்றார். தம்மிடம் இயேசு கூறியவற்றையும் அவர்களிடம் சொன்னார்.
ஆண்டவரே! உயிர்த்த உம் மகனைக் கண்டறிந்து. அவரைச் சிக்கெனப் பற்றிக் கொள்ள அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகனை அறிந்து அனுபவித்து. அவர் தரும் நற்செய்தியைப் பிறரோடு பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளும் கருவியாக என்னைப் பயன்படுத்தும்.
11 But Mary stood weeping outside the tomb. As she wept, she bent over to look[a] into the tomb; 12 and she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had been lying, one at the head and the other at the feet. 13 They said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him.” 14 When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?” Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.” 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to him in Hebrew,[b] “Rabbouni!” (which means Teacher). 17 Jesus said to her, “Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” 18 Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord”; and she told them that he had said these things to her.
Lord! Grant me the grace to seek your son, the risen Jesus, and hold on to him.
Lord! Make me to perceive and experience your son and use me as an instrument for sharing his good news with others.
19 அன்று வாரத்தின் முதல் நாள். அது மாலை வேளை. யூதர்களுக்கு அஞ்சிச் சீடர்கள் தாங்கள் இருந்த இடத்தின் கதவுகளை மூடிவைத்திருந்தார்கள். அப்போது இயேசு அங்கு வந்து அவர்கள் நடுவில் நின்று, "உங்களுக்கு அமைதி உரித்தாகுக!" என்று வாழ்த்தினார். 20 இவ்வாறு சொல்லிய பின் அவர் தம் கைகளையும் விலாவையும் அவர்களிடம் காட்டினார். ஆண்டவரைக் கண்டதால் சீடர்கள் மகிழ்ச்சி கொண்டார்கள். 21 இயேசு மீண்டும் அவர்களை நோக்கி, "உங்களுக்கு அமைதி உரித்தாகுக! தந்தை என்னை அனுப்பியது போல நானும் உங்களை அனுப்புகிறேன்' என்றார். 22 இதைச் சொன்ன பின் அவர் அவர்கள்மேல் ஊதி, "தூய ஆவியைப் பெற்றுக் கொள்ளுங்கள். 23 எவருடை பாவங்களை நீங்கள் மன்னிப்பீர்களோ, அவை மன்னிக்கப்படும் எவருடைய பாவங்களை மன்னியாதிருப்பீர்களோ, அவை மன்னிக்கப் படா" என்றார்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகனோடு உறவில் கலந்து மகிழ்ச்சியில் மூழ்க எனக்கு அருள் தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகனின் உயிர்த்த ஆவியைப் பெற்று, அதில் மூழ்கித் திளைத்து மகிழ்ந்து, அமைதியைச் சுவைத்திட எனக்கருள்புரியும்.
19 When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” 20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. 21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” 22 When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
Lord! Grant me the grace to mingle with your son and get immersed in that joy.
Lord! May we rejoice and taste the heavenly peace by receiving the spirit of your son, the risen Jesus,
24 பன்னிருவருள் ஒருவரான திதிம் என்னும் தோமா, இயேசு வந்தபோது அவர்களோடு இல்லை . 25 மற்றச் சீடர்கள் அவரிடம், "ஆண்டவரைக் கண்டோம்" என்றார்கள். தோமா அவர்களிடம் " அவருடைய கைகளில் ஆணிகளால் ஏற்பட்ட தழும்பைப் பார்த்து அதில் என் விரலை விட்டு, அவர் விலாவில் என் கையை இட்டாலன்றி நான் நம்பமாட்டேன்" என்றார். 26 எட்டு நாள்களுக்குப்பின் அவருடைய சீடர்கள் மீண்டும் உள்ளே கூடியிருந்தார்கள். அன்று தோமாவும் அவர்களோடு இருந்தார். கதவுகள் பூட்டப்பட்டிருந்தும் இயேசு உள்ளே வந்து அவர்கள் நடுவில் நின்று ," உங்களுக்கு அமைதி உரித்தாகுக!" என்று வாழ்த்தினார். 27 பின்னர் அவர் தோமாவிடம், "இதோ! என் கைகள், இங்கே உன் விரலை இடு. உன் கையை நீட்டி என் விலாவில் இடு. ஐயம் தவிர்த்து நம்பிக்கை கொள்" என்றார். 28 தோமா அவரைப் பார்த்து, "நீரே என் ஆண்டவர் ! நீரே என் கடவுள்!!" என்றார். 29 இயேசு அவரிடம் நீ என்னைக் கண்டதால் நம்பினாய். காணாமலே நம்புவோர் பேறுபெற்றோர்" என்றார்.
ஆண்டவரே! நல்ல ஆயனைப்போல் என்னைத் தேடி வரும் உம் மகன் இயேசுவை நான் கண்டு கொள்ள அருள்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! உயிர்த்த உம் மகன் இயேசுவின் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு அவரை என் இதயத்தின் ஆண்டவராக ஏற்றுக் கொள்ள எனக்கருள் புரியும்.
24 But Thomas (who was called the Twin[c]), one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe.” 26 A week later his disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were shut, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it in my side. Do not doubt but believe.” 28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”
Lord! Grant me the grace to recognise your son, Jesus, who comes as a good shepherd in search of me.
Lord! May we have faith in your son, the risen Jesus, and accept as the Lord of our hearts.
15 அவர்கள் உணவருந்தியபின் இயேசு சீமோன் பேதுருவிடம், "யோவானின் மகன் சீமோனே, நீ இவர்களைவிட மிகுதியாக என்மீது அன்பு செலுத்துகிறாயா?" என்று கேட்டார். அவர் இயேசுவிடம், "ஆம் ஆண்டவரே, எனக்கு உம்மிடம் அன்பு உண்டு என உமக்குத் தெரியுமே!" என்றார். இயேசு அவரிடம் " என் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளைப் பேணி வளர்" என்றார். 16 இரண்டாம் முறையாக இயேசு அவரிடம், "யோவானின் மகன் சீமோனே, நீ என் மீது அன்பு செலுத்துகிறாயா?" என்று கேட்டார். அவர் இயேசுவிடம், "ஆம் ஆண்டவரே, எனக்கு உம்மிடம் அன்பு உண்டு என உமக்குத் தெரியுமே!" என்றார். இயேசு அவரிடம், "என் ஆடுகளை மேய்" என்றார். 17 மூன்றாம் முறையாக இயேசு அவரிடம், "யோவானின் மகன் சீமோனே, "உனக்கு என்னிடம் அன்பு உண்டா?" என்று கேட்டார். 'உனக்கு என்னிடம் அன்பு உண்டா?' என்று இயேசு மூன்றாம் முறை கேட்டதால் பேதுரு துயருற்று, அவரிடம், "ஆண்டவரே உமக்கு எல்லாம் தெரியுமே! எனக்கு உம்மீது அன்பு உண்டு என்பது நீர் அறியாத ஒன்றா?" என்றார். இயேசு அவரிடம், "என் ஆடுகளைப் பேணிவளர்.18 "நீ இளைஞனாக இருந்தபோது நீயே இடையைக் கட்டிக் கொண்டு உனக்கு விருப்பமான இடத்தில் நடமாடிவந்தாய். உனக்கு முதிர்ந்த வயது ஆகும் போது நீ கைகளை விரித்துக் கொடுப்பாய். வேறொருவர் உன்னைக் கட்டி, உனக்கு விருப்பம் இல்லாத இடத்திற்குக் கூட்டிச் செல்வார் என உறுதியாக உனக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்" என்றார். 19 பேதுரு எவ்வாறு இறந்து கடவுளை மாட்சிப்படுத்தப் போகிறார் என்பதைக் குறிப்பிட்டே அவர் இவ்வாறு சொன்னார். இதைச் சொன்ன பின் பேதுருவிடம், "என்னைப் பின்தொடர்" என்றார்.
ஆண்டவரே! உம் மகன் இயேசுவை நான் அன்பு செய்து அவரைப் பின் தொடர எனக்கு அருள்புரியும்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகன் இயேசுவுக்காக என் உயிரை அளிக்க நான் தயார். அவரை என்றும் பின் தொடரும் சீடனாக என்னை வழிநடத்தும்.
15When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my lambs." 16 A second time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Tend my sheep." 17 He said to him the third time, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter felt hurt because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" And he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep. 18 Very truly, I tell you, when you were younger, you used to fasten your own belt and to go wherever you wished. But when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will fasten a belt around you and take you where you do not wish to go." 19 (He said this to indicate the kind of death by which he would glorify God.) After this he said to him, "Follow me."
Lord! Grant me the grace to love and follow your son, Jesus..
Lord! I am ready to sacrifice my life for the sake of your son, Jesus. Guide me to follow him so that I will be his disciple always.
13 அதே நாளில் சீடர்களுள் இருவர் எருசலேமிலிருந்து ஏறத்தாழ பதினொரு கிலோ மீட்டர் தொலையிலுள்ள ஓர் ஊருக்குச் சென்று கொண்டிருந்தனர். அவ்வூரின் பெயர் எம்மாவு. 14 அவர்கள் இந்நிகழ்ச்சிகள் அனைத்தையும் குறித்து ஒருவரோடு ஒருவர் உரையாடிக் கொண்டே சென்றார்கள். 15 இப்படி அவர்கள் உரையாடிக் கொண்டும் வினவிக்கொண்டும் சென்றபோது, இயேசு நெருங்கி வந்து அவர்களோடு நடந்து சென்றார். 16 ஆனால் அவர் யார் என்று அறிந்து உணர முடியாதவாறு அவர்கள் கண்கள் மறைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தன. 25 இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி, " அறிவிலிகளே! இறைவாக்கினர்கள் உரைத்த எல்லாவற்றையும் நம்ப இயலாத மந்த உள்ளத்தினரே! 26 மெசியா தாம் மாட்சி அடைவதற்கு முன் இத்துன்பங்களைப் பட வேண்டுமல்லவா!" என்றார். 27 மேலும் மோசே முதல் இறைவாக்கினர்வரை அனைவரின் நூல்களிலும் தம்மைக் குறித்து எழுதப்பட்ட யாவற்றையும் அவர் அவர்களுக்கு விளக்கினார். 28 அவர்கள் தாங்கள் போகவேண்டிய ஊரை நெருங்கி வந்தார்கள். அவரோ அதற்கு அப்பால் போகிறவர் போலக் காட்டிக் கொண்டார். 29 அவர்கள் அவரிடம், " எங்களோடு தங்கும்; ஏனெனில் மாலை நேரம் ஆயிற்று; பொழுதும் போயிற்று” என்று கூறிக் கட்டாயப்படுத்தி அவரை இணங்கவைத்தார்கள். அவர் அங்குத் தங்குமாறு அவர்களோடு சென்றார். 30 அவர்களோடு அவர் பந்தியில் அமர்ந்திருந்தபோது அப்பத்தை எடுத்து கடவுளைப் போற்றி, பிட்டு அவர்களுக்கு கொடுத்தார். 31 அப்போது அவர்கள் கண்கள் திறந்தன. அவர்களும் அவரை அடையாளம் கண்டுகொண்டார்கள். உடனே அவர் அவர்களிடமிருந்து மறைந்து போனார். 32 அப்போது அவர்கள் ஒருவரையொருவர் நோக்கி, "வழியிலே அவர் நம்மோடு பேசி, மறை நூலை விளக்கும் போது நம் உள்ளம் பற்றி எரிய வில்லையா?" என்று பேசிக் கொண்டார்கள். 33 அந்நேரமே அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டு எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்பிப்போனார்கள். அங்கே பதினொருவரும் அவர்களோடு இருந்தவர்களும் குழுமியிருக்கக் கண்டார்கள். 34 அங்கிருந்தவர்கள், "ஆண்டவர் உண்மையாகவே உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்பட்டார். அவர் சீமோனுக்குத் தோற்றம் அளித்துள்ளார்" என்று சொன்னார்கள். 35 அவர்கள் வழியில் நிகழ்ந்தவற்றையும் அவர் அப்பத்தைப் பிட்டுக் கொடுக்கும் போது அவரைக் கண்டுணர்ந்து கொண்டதையும் அங்கிருந்தவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைத்தார்கள்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகன் இயேசு என் வாழ்க்கையின் வழித்துணையாக நடந்து வருகிறார் என்பதை உணரும் அருளைத்தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகனோடு நான் உரையாடும் பொழுது என் உள்ளம் பற்றி எரியட்டும். நற்கருணைப் பந்தியில் நான் பங்கேற்கும் போது என் கண்கள் திறக்கட்டும். அவரது மாபெரும் செயல்களைப் பிறருக்கு எடுத்துரைக்க வரம் தாரும்.
13 Now on that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, 14 and talking with each other about all these things that had happened.15 While they were talking and discussing, Jesus himself came near and went with them, 16 but their eyes were kept from recognizing him. 17 And he said to them, "What are you discussing with each other while you walk along?" They stood still, looking sad. 18 Then one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answered him, "Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem who does not know the things that have taken place there in these days?" 19 He asked them, "What things?" They replied, "The things about Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, 20 and how our chief priests and leaders handed him over to be condemned to death and crucified him. 21But we had hoped that he was the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things took place. 22 Moreover, some women of our group astounded us. They were at the tomb early this morning, 23 and when they did not find his body there, they came back and told us that they had indeed seen a vision of angels who said that he was alive. 24 Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but they did not see him."
25 Then he said to them, "Oh, how foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have declared! 26 Was it not necessary that the Messiah should suffer these things and then enter into his glory?" 27 Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them the things about himself in all the scriptures. 28 As they came near the village to which they were going, he walked ahead as if he were going on. 29 But they urged him strongly, saying, "Stay with us, because it is almost evening and the day is now nearly over." So he went in to stay with them.
30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him; and he vanished from their sight. 32 They said to each other, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he was talking to us on the road, while he was opening the scriptures to us?" 33 That same hour they got up and returned to Jerusalem; and they found the eleven and their companions gathered together. 34 They were saying, "The Lord has risen indeed, and he has appeared to Simon!" 35 Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he had been made known to them in the breaking of the bread.
Lord! Grant me the grace to understand that your son Jesus is walking along with me as a companion in my life.
Lord! May my heart burn when I converse with your son. May my eyes be opened when I partake in the Eucharistic banquet. Grant me the gift to proclaim his great deeds to others.
6 பின்பு அங்கே கூடியிருந்தவர்கள் அவரிடம், "ஆண்டவரே, இஸ்ரயேலுக்கு ஆட்சியுரிமையை மீண்டும் பெற்றுத் தரும் காலம் இதுதானோ?” என்று கேட்டார்கள். 7 அதற்கு அவர், "என் தந்தை தம் அதிகாரத்தால் குறித்து வைத்துள்ள நேரங்களையும் காலங்களையும் அறிவது உங்களுக்கு உரியது அல்ல ; 8 ஆனால் தூய ஆவி உங்களிடம் வரும்போது நீங்கள் கடவுளது வல்லமையைப் பெற்று எருசலேமிலும் யூதேயா, சமாரியா முழுவதிலும் உலகின் கடையெல்லைவரைக்கும் எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாய் இருப்பீர்கள்” என்றார். 9 இவற்றைச் சொன்னபின்பு, அவர்கள் கண்கள் முன்பாக அவர் மேலே எடுத்துக் கொள்ளப்பட்டார். மேகம் ஒன்று அவரை எடுத்துச் சென்று அவர்கள் பார்வையிலிருந்து மறைத்து விட்டது. 10 அவர் செல்லும் போது அவர்கள் வானத்தை அண்ணாந்து பார்த்துக் கொண்டே இருந்தார்கள், அப்போது வெண்ணுடை அணிந்த இருவர் தோன்றி, 11 கலிலேயரே, நீங்கள் ஏன் வானத்தை அண்ணாந்து பார்த்துக்கொண்டே நிற்கிறீர்கள்? இந்த இயேசு உங்களிடமிருந்து விண்ணேற்றமடைந்ததைக் கண்டீர்களல்லவா? அவ்வாறே அவர் மீண்டும் வருவார்" என்றனர்.
ஆண்டவரே! கிறஸ்து இயேசுவின் மூலம் நீர் எனக்கு மேலிருந்து விடுக்கும் அழைப்பை நான் ஒரு பரிசாகக் கருத அருள் தாரும்.
ஆண்டவரே! உமது மகன் இயேசு மீண்டும் வருமளவும் அவரது மரணத்தையும் உயிர்ப்பையும் பிறருக்கு எடுத்துரைக்கும் கருவியாக என்னைப் பயன்படுத்தும்.
6 So when they had come together, they asked him, "Lord, is this the time when you will restore the kingdom to Israel?" 7 He replied, "It is not for you to know the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." 9 When he had said this, as they were watching, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. 10 While he was going and they were gazing up toward heaven, suddenly two men in white robes stood by them. 11 They said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven."
Lord! Grant me the grace to consider and accept your heavenly call that you send through Jesus Christ as a prize.
Lord! Use me as an instrument for proclaiming to others the death and resurrection of your son Jesus, until he come again.
